a wise friend bought your supplies and scored the art?
great score on the monk scale of life...you work for room and board?
sold work at an art fair and was lucky to make $40 - $120? that old lady was tough.
sold your art for a bag of great weed?
bit of more than you could chew and took on a large project for $1,000.00
impressed some regulars and sold a large work for $1,800.00
Spent three months on Maui working on a peice, room and board with pay in the ball park of $5,000.00
you sold your show out and made enough money to live for a year or more. well when all is said and done it was more like three months?
